TouchWiz and Edge Features:
In terms of the improved Edge Panel features, Samsung went back to the drawing board and come out with really useful features on the Edge Panel. Now you can swipe out and get the latest sports scores, top CNN headlines, and quickly snap selfies with the camera.
TouchWiz has also become so much better than it used to be. It’s entirely usable, with the help of custom launchers, themes, and even cranking up the speed of animations.
The IP68 rating is something you won’t know you’ll love until your phone has it. It enables your phone to go up to 30 minutes underwater for up to a 1.5m depth.
The camera has always been a key part of Galaxy smartphones. The Galaxy S7 Edge introduces the first dual-pixel camera for brighter and sharper images. Its 12-megapixel rear camera now sports an even larger aperture at f/1.7, making it much easier to take good shots in low light conditions. The camera also has a faster shutter speed.
Samsung added a microSD slot for expandable storage up to 200GB for your data, photos, and apps onto your SD card, which can also be used as an extra SIM card tray.
Fast Wireless Charging:
This feature is useful for travelling, and is available for those using Samsung’s standard fast wireless chargers, which can charge your phone from 0-100% within an hour.
